Material Planner
Position Overview:
Cicor Newport is seeking a motivated and skilled Material Planner to join our dynamic team in the electronics manufacturing sector. This role is ideal for individuals who are eager to advance their careers in an environment that values expertise, self-drive, and initiative. The material planner will interface with the Production teams to improve customer service and customer satisfaction through OTTP (On time to promise).
Key Responsibilities:
* Reviews Sales and Operations Planning report (MPS)
* Run shortage calculators for next period.
* Share calculator with CFT buyer.
* Review material update from buyer with team and recommend changes to Master production schedule (MPS) in line with material clearance.
* Raise works orders in line with plan.
* Manage ECN within works orders.
* Issue kit lists to stores in line with kitting plan.
* Monitor and chase shortages through system to clear kit.
* Update of Material information sheet.
* Attend daily production meeting with relevant material clearance information.
* Ensure all kits are picked and issued in line with SMT/Hand and HLA start dates.
* Update SMT start date in line with OTTP.
* Align HLA start dates with Hand and SMT in line with OTTP.
* Manage Engineering Change Requests (ECN).
* Participate in weekly customer reviews.
Qualifications:
* Ability to meet tight deadlines.
* Understanding of TTE GMS products.
* Should possess a good standard of numeracy and literacy skills.
* Warehouse experience in a fast-moving environment with experience in Efacs and Excel is a must.
