About the team
Roku's Trust Engineering team is responsible for protecting customers, partners, devices, services, infrastructure, data and other information assets.
About the role
We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer who can help us develop tools to secure our stack, source code and environment.
What you will be doing
Leading the end-to-end process of building out security solutions and controls - from architecting and designing, through to development and implementation.
Designing security solutions with an automated and scalable approach (think webhooks and Docker).
Developing (or extending OSS) security automation tooling. This can range from detection tooling to security process automation, or a fuzzing infrastructure to find bugs.
We are excited if you have
You have more than 5+ years hands on experience as a Software Engineer.
Strong programming/scripting skills e.g. Go, Python, NodeJS, we use it all.
Practical experience with Kubernetes and containers.
Practical experience with CI/CD.
Practical experience with infrastructure-as-code and orchestration tools e.g. Terraform.
Experience deploying in public cloud (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
Day to day Linux experience.
Excited about cyber security.
