An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Carer Peer Mentor to join the Aneurin Bevan University Health Board Specialist Eating Disorders Service.
The Specialist Eating Disorders Service aims to ensure that service provision for eating disorders is high quality, innovative, and equitably delivered across Gwent. We do this in partnership with; Tier 1, Tier 2 mental health and acute medical colleagues, service users, carers and third sector services.
The Specialist Eating Disorders Service are looking to recruit a highly skilled individual to join their team and work collaboratively with them to develop and deliver services for our clients and their families/carers. We enabling the safe, efficient and high-quality delivery and development of eating disorder services in Aneurin Bevan University Health Board.
Main duties of the job
To work as a carer peer mentor within the Specialist Eating Disorders Service.Inspire hope and belief that a positive and meaningful life is possible in others through sharing the knowledge from own support the facilitation of training and group work through sharing knowledge from own lived experience
