The purpose of this role is to co-ordinate the day to day requirements through the ERP system with specific emphasis reducing / fast tracking shortages supply to assembly areas. To manage the kits and associated manufacturing orders, travellers and co-ordinate deliveries into the production process. Maximise efficiency and reduce waste (time / effort) and to achieve OTD targets. Key Responsibilities will include: Ensure business requirements are integrated into the daily logistics activities and prioritise as necessary Schedule and communicate daily work coordination to colleagues and timely, accurate feedback to internal customers Take responsibility for component delivery to internal customer including "last mile" Implement best practice and maintain the highest house-keeping standards Ensure a consistent approach to "standardized work", share learning experiences Maintain a safe environment for yourself and colleagues in accordance with the Company's Health & Safety policy Undertake other duties and task as may be reasonably requested by your manager from time to time. Work closely with Production Planning, Production Co-ordinators and MRP Planners to ensure flow of parts / kits to one business plan with customer and delivery at the core.
