Family Support Worker
Salary: £24,309.07 per annum
Location: Great Yarmouth, Norfolk
Contract/Hours: Fixed Term/Full Time - 37 hours per week (12 month contract)

A bit about the Service
Norfolk's Early Childhood and Family Service provide tailored support to families with children aged 0-5 years. Our service provides a variety of childhood services to parents, prospective parents, and young children to support in areas including bonding, speech and language development, parenting challenges, mental well-being, and healthy relationships.
A bit about the role
In the role of Family Support Worker, you will provide support to children, young people and their families through direct interventions to achieve positive outcomes in alignments with organisational policies and regulatory requirements. You will deliver high quality care, activities and experiences either individually or as part of a team, following agreed plans, including home visits and meetings.

We are looking for an energetic and dynamic forward thinker, confident in leading and bringing fresh ideas and inspiration to the role. You will find full job description attached job description details the requirements of the role but the 'must-haves' are:
* Level Diploma Level 2 or equivalent in Early Years or relevant study area.
* Experience of working in a Health, Early Years or Social Care Setting.
* Experience of undertaking assessments, planning and delivering both group and 1-1 interventions and case recording.
* A good understanding of Microsoft Office and ability to use IT systems.
* Compassion and dedication to our cause - keeping children and young people safe and happy.
* Access to a suitable method of transport to enable the duties of the role to be carried out (essential).
