The role oversees business activities across the programme / portfolio & related projects & is accountable for both business KPIs & client outcomes. Working closely with client executive teams, you will be an integral member of both their senior leadership team and ours, providing delivery expertise, wider team leadership and strategic counsel. Leads, adapts & delivers the strategy & business plan for a major programme, working with leadership roles across the business and the programme stakeholder group, to ensure adherence and consistency of policy, processes and procedures. You’ll be responsible for: Providing leadership of the overall delivery of strategy & objectives across the programme, in line with overall Mace strategy and priorities. Ownership of the programme, planning & budgeting, business operational resource requirements, ensures compliance with Mace group reporting cycles and establishing KPIs & OKDs (objectives & key deliverables). Accountable for delivery of annual financial and operating targets for the programme (including KPIs, OKDs & business outcomes), leads effective cost management, ensuring budgets are met and utilises data & analysis to drive continuous business improvements. Utilising deep expertise & knowledge in programme management to holistically view & visualise benefits of individual projects in programme portfolio & delivers overall programme benefits & KPIs. Overseeing & promoting effective relationships externally with all clients, suppliers, stakeholders, partners & internally across the engine/business unit & the wider business. Accountable for the overall programme performance covering planning, design, construction, monitoring & commissioning to ensure the programme is delivered on time, budget & specification. Building & sustaining an integrated, collaborative & high-performing team/s that proactively anticipates & responds to the requirements of the client organisation & key stakeholders. Typically manages large, complex team/s & programme resources with country/multi-country scope & remit. Championing innovation & providing thought leadership across the programme advocating new ideas, ways of working & efficiencies. Leads & implements strategies for service delivery championing a culture of good practice & continuous improvement. Collaborating & partnering with others across the business & identifies and promotes cross selling opportunities within the wider Mace business, driving & promoting business development, including building & developing productive relationships across the business & with clients. Accountable for robust resource planning and a talent and succession pipeline, matching business demand Member of engine senior leadership team, inputs into & influences strategic agenda in line with overall engine business strategy, direction & objectives. Working collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work. Providing executive leadership and direction across the programme portfolio & across the business, supporting and mentoring senior leaders including succession planning, onboarding, training and diversity planning. Promoting & championing the highest standards and adherence to health, safety & wellbeing across portfolio. Providing thought leadership, industry expertise & expert counsel across the programme portfolio to senior leadership teams including engine executive board. You’ll need to have: Advanced budgetary expertise. Ability to lead strategic direction of a progamme / business from both an internal and external perspective. Degree/postgraduate (or equivalent) Demonstratable track record in a senior leadership/director role (or equivalent).
