About the role
This is an exciting time to join our clinical team whilst we are undergoing service transformation and development. We’re investing in a wide range or roles within the clinical team to support our outreach and engagement with children, young people and families.
We are looking to recruit enthusiastic and passionate nurses to provide Children / Young People (CYP’s) palliative care as part of a multi-disciplinary team, working in Chestnut Tree House care team. Children’s palliative care involves delivering short respite breaks aimed at having fun and living well with life limited conditions as well as end of life care.
We have a mixture of adult, learning disability and paediatric nurses working in the inhouse team, we also welcome newly qualified nurses. You do not need to have experience of working in palliative care or paediatrics as we offer a comprehensive development and preceptorship programme along with inhouse training which can be delivered to support staff to achieve clinical skills.
We are striving for excellence and have new workstreams to support transition, palliative care, learning disabilities, patient experience and patient safety. You’ll have the opportunity to develop skills and contribute to these areas of development.
Due to the remote location and lack of public transport, access to your own transport is essential.
