The successful candidate will take ownership and responsibility of a small finance team.
Key responsibilities:
* Management of financial operations and bookkeeping including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations. Take responsibility for the credit control function.
* Management of payroll (outsourced).
* Budgeting and forecasting, reviewing operating costs.
* Liaise with external accountants.
* Preparation of month-end accounts and budgeting.
Essential:
* Experience using QuickBooks.
* Strong IT skills with experience of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and CRM systems.
* Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate financials to non-financial staff.
* High degree of flexibility and ability to adapt quickly.
* A proactive and energetic personality.
* Can-do attitude and team player.
Preferred:
* Strong IT skills with experience of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and CRM systems.
