Technical Sales Representative Scotland (remote) £40k - £50k car package Grafton Recruitment are delighted to be working with a global manufacturing business, who are looking for a Technical Sales Representative to join their team. Our client is looking to speak with candidates who have a background in workholding, engineering, CNC machining, or bespoke manufacturing. As Technical Sales Representative, your responsibilities will include identifying and pursuing new business opportunities across all manufacturing in Scotland area. THE ROLE: Some of your responsibilities as a Technical Sales Representative: Identify new business opportunities across manufacturing sectors. Review your territory regularly and discuss performance with your manager. Create tenders and quotes for new business. Present suitable technical solutions to meet customer requirements and secure long-term commitments. Developing sales strategies. Meet and exceed revenue goals. Increase customer satisfaction and loyalty by building and maintaining strong customer relationships. Demonstrate the value of the company's solutions through product demonstrations and compelling presentations. Contributing to sales strategies, pricing decisions and contract negotiations based on technical considerations. It is crucial to gain a comprehensive understanding of customers' businesses and their specific requirements through effective questioning and regular updates to the system. THE CANDIDATE: The ideal candidate will have BA bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering or equivalent with experience in workholding or tooling as a related field. 5 years of experience as a sales engineer or in a similar technical sales role. Knowledge of the Scottish market and current industry trends. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify customer needs and propose innovative solutions. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. The ability to think strategically and plan effectively. Strong technical background and ability to understand complex technical concepts/drawings and effectively communicate them to both technical and non-technical audiences.
