Job description: The Renewables Team at Uniper is responsible for the development of the Solar-PV business of Uniper, predominantly in Europe. The Renewables business at Uniper is one of the most important pillars of our strategic ambitions. As a PDM, you will: Lead the Management of portfolio projects under development with Co-developers Grow and manage the greenfield portfolio of wind, solar and co-located projects located around our existing power stations, for our customers and further afield Originate new development and co-development opportunities throughout the UK and Republic of Ireland across multiple technologies and will proactively support the Bid Process, Deal Structuring and Due Diligence processes Undertake assessments of a sites renewable development potential, including a detailed examination and interpretation of environmental, planning and policy risks to build the business case Manage the full project process from conception, through planning and into early stage construction in a diligent and effective manner. Ensure up-to-date and precise project development reporting and manage any relevant approvals processes Support the project delivery team to bring projects to Final Investment Decision Ensure that projects are delivered on time and on budget Required profile: Essential: Excellent up-to-date granular knowledge of Project development, including Permitting, land contracts, grid connection, etc., from origination to ready-to-build Capacity to originate opportunities: Good network in the industry (developers, suppliers, technical and legal advisors, financial advisors, etc.).Ability to create and maintain a network of partners Proven track record of utility-scale renewable energy project development, acquisitions and /or co-development with solid experience Demonstrable ability to manage internal and external stakeholders and advisors throughout the development process Strong project management skills, with excellent attention to detail Capacity to implement and update project management tools to ensure accurate reporting Excellent presentation skills, both oral and written Ability to work effectively as part of a diverse team including technical departments, contract managers, legal and finance departments, asset teams, trading / PPA teams and finance teams among other enabling functions Understanding and use of financial tools and concepts Fluent in English.
