Are you a HRSSC Manager that loves driving efficiencies and focusing on change and transformation?
Are you looking for an opportunity to develop into a Head of People Services over the next few years?
I am supporting a large, matrix organisation on sourcing a brand new role into their HR team. The role of HR Shared Service Centre Manager, will report into the Head of People Services and will be their successor over the next few years. You will lead an operational HR team, with specialists across Employee Relations, HR Administration and HR Systems, focusing on Systems, Service and Structure!
* Systems You will take ownership of the HRIS, unpicking various errors and oversights over the years to define clear, simple processes that better support the business needs. This role requires a process improvement expert, who enjoys working with technology to identify ways to automate and streamline where possible!
* Service Due to the lack of automation and heavy manual processes across the HR Services team, the team have naturally developed a task orientated approach in order to get everything over the line. By developing the use of the HRIS and driving efficiencies, this will allow the team the bandwidth to focus on service levels to the wider business. You will guide them through a cultural transformation programme to change their perception of their colleagues to their customers, and define what a good customer service looks like to support the wider business.
* Structure By investing in systems and service, this will allow the team to broaden out their current roles. Instead of the HR Administrators racing through transactional tasks, you will develop them into generalists that can provide first line support for a variety of people queries. Whether it’s policy advice, manager support, system queries or low level ER cases, there’s so much room to develop how the HR Admin team better support the wider business. This journey will also allow the ER Advisors to step away from the low level employee relations cases, and work on coaching and upskilling line managers to take more accountability for their people challenges, without having to loop HR in every single step of the way. The ER Advisors will have more time to invest in complex cases and identify key trends across their case load to feed into shaping the people plan to overcome reoccurring people challenges!
Due to the complexity of the business structure, scale of transformation they are looking deliver and timelines for succession into the Head of People Services role, this particular opportunity is only suitable for an established HR Shared Service Manager who can demonstrate they have led on a variety of change and transformation projects.
You must have experience navigating matrix, complex business structures as well as be able to demonstrate the ability to work with senior stakeholders from C-suite level down.
The final piece to the puzzle is team leadership. You will be joining a team that have had to navigating a huge amount of change over a short period of time. You will need to build trust in order to take them on this next phase of the change journey with you, overcoming change fatigue and driving energy and excitement around the future of the HR Services Team.
So, if you’re excited by this opportunity and can demonstrate experience in the above, please apply now!
