Applications are invited for the above post of Clinical Teaching Fellow in Cardiology / Cardiothoracic Surgery. Posts will commence from August 2025 for a period of 12 months. *This may be extended for a further 12 months depending on individual skillset/circumstances.
The successful appointee will occupy a pivotal role in the teaching of 4 th & 5 th year University of Glasgow undergraduate medical students in the Cardiovascular Sciences component their curriculum. The role will include organisation of teaching sessions, delivery of didactic and seminar based teaching and in the assessment of the students.
It is anticipated that there will be access to 2-3 other sessions per week for further clinical or academic activities. Support will be available for the successful candidates to complete a further qualification in Medical Education.
Applicants must have full registration with the General Medical Council. Possession of the MRCS, MRCP or equivalent and experience in Cardiology and/or Cardiothoracic Surgery is desirable.
