The role of the Rapid Diagnostic Centre Administrator is to provide specialist knowledge for the pathway of cancer patients across Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust. The role will facilitate the smooth running of the patient journey by ensuring that the pathway is co-ordinated, streamlined and all processes revolve around the patient and their individual needs. Main duties of the job This is an opportunity to support the Cancer Tumour Site Teams to facilitate the smooth running of the patient journey, by ensuring that the cancer pathways revolve around the patient and their individual needs. The role will have a primary base at one of the three hospitals and will provide cross-cover within the tumour site teams to ensure a consistent and effective support for all cancer sub specialities is maintained at all times.
