The Royal British Legion – Regional Outreach Officer
The Royal British Legion’s Outreach Service operates in England, Wales, Scotland, and Ireland, providing responsive, holistic, and person-centred support to beneficiaries experiencing complex and isolating challenges related to homelessness, mental health, addiction, domestic abuse, the Criminal Justice system, and children/families at risk.
We are delighted to announce that we are now recruiting for a Regional Outreach Officer – North East to join our team.
As a Regional Outreach Officer, you will be responsible for managing a complex beneficiary caseload, supporting and working alongside beneficiaries across Northumberland, Newcastle, North Tyneside, and Ireland, providing advice, guidance, and advocacy support to achieve outcomes that positively impact their lives.
Led by the Regional Lead Outreach, you will be part of the Outreach North East team, collaborating with wider Regional Outreach team members across the UK as required.
The role is home-based, with the requirement to travel for beneficiary face-to-face appointments and other organizational meetings and training across the North East and Ireland. Therefore, you will ideally be based in the Northumberland, Newcastle, or North Tyneside area.
RBL is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive organization, reflecting the diversity of the armed forces community and wider society. We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds and personal characteristics and aim to operate an inclusive recruitment process.
Come and be part of the leading Armed Forces charity, making a difference to the lives of those who have served to keep us safe and protect our way of life.
