Job Description Experienced teachers who can assist students in finding placements for interpreter observations and / or practicum and can discuss those experiences in accordance with the Demand – Control Schema and the Code of Professional Conduct, as defined by the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf. The teachers will also discuss cultural adjustments observed and / or used while interpreting, and various modes of communication used and / or requested by deaf and hard of hearing clients (American Sign Language and various forms of coded English). Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or higher, National Certification by the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf, minimum of two years of interpreting experience.
