Overview
To drive the growth and success of the Hire Department by proactively identifying and securing new business opportunities while retaining and expanding revenue through the Hire distribution channel. This role supports the financial growth of the department by managing hires and exchanges effectively and fostering trusted relationships with both current and potential Hire customers. Clear, respectful, and transparent communication with all stakeholders, both internal and external, is essential to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
1. Drive engagement and regular contact with all Short/Long Term Hire Customers with a view to retaining and/or extending Hire periods.
2. Actively seek out new business opportunities for hire, nurturing these opportunities and converting them into Hire contracts.
3. Be responsible for all new Hire enquiries together with follow-up of all quotes within 30 minutes. Upsell accessories and other equipment wherever possible.
4. Respond to all Hire enquiries within 30 minutes, preferably contacting by telephone in the first instance.
5. Ensure covering POs are accurately created and secured for all Hire contracts for the duration of the Hire and any subsequent extension.
6. Assist in arranging hire collections.
7. Responsible for monthly invoice run ensuring all details are correct; e.g., dates, amounts, delivery charges.
8. Be responsible for all Hire exchanges.
9. Correctly use the CRM (Autotask) ensuring all customer details, notes, and relevant information are correct and up to date.
10. Assist in maintaining the pricing guide for hire customers including bespoke pricing for key customers.
11. Ensure complete awareness of cross hire pricing and processes.
12. Periodically review Hire T&Cs and Hire agreements in accordance with the Sales Operations Manager.
13. In conjunction with the Hire Manager, keep accurate records of Hire stock and attend stock takes as necessary.
14. Achieve all targets and KPIs set by the Sales Operations Manager.
