We are looking to recruit a Health, Safety & Environmental (HS&E) Lead to be responsible for managing, co-ordinating, and overseeing all HS&E, and Sustainability programs and processes for Mondelez Integrated Supply Chain for our World Class Confectionary category within our Chirk Plant.
In this role, you will Lead the HS&E agenda for the Chirk Site, managing site annual plans and action plans to deal with non-conformance and compliance issues.
You will manage the delivery of all HS&E activities in behavioural safety and engagement, including standards & procedures, capability processes, reporting, compliance and audit. That means you will define and review standards and legislation applicable to site, validate design for HS&E into projects and modifications, and support defined work processes to improve HSE application and effectiveness. Also, you will map all applicable legislation and internal standards, ensure ongoing compliance and manage relationship with legal department and local authorities. You will maintain all HSE regulatory requirements for plant.
How you will contribute
You will:
1. In conjunction with the Plant Manager and HSE Cluster Director, develop the annual Safety & Environment and Sustainability improvement plans for the Chirk site.
2. Develop HS&E strategy and agenda for the site, through the Manufacturing Sections, participating in management reviews. Coach and support the Factory Leadership Team at all levels at site and Departmental Management in delivery of their local HS&E agenda.
3. Lead the HS&E Specialist, as well as coaching and providing strong support to the wider site.
4. Drive and support the implementation of the Mondelez International Safety, Security and Environment Standards, ensuring best practices are adopted, and standardized actions plans are developed and implemented across the full site.
5. Ensure relevant Safety, Security and Environment training requirements are identified for the site, and that appropriate training packages are developed and delivered to support the implementation of Mondelez standards/procedures, and to meet legal compliance.
6. Drive safety culture through engagement and use of Integrated Lean 6 sigma tools.

7. Experience as a Health, Safety and Environment Practitioner preferably within a manufacturing or commercial environment
8. Strong people management experience
9. Experience of coaching individuals,
10. Strong experience of implementing a cultural change in a HS&E context
11. Demonstrated experience managing a team, change management and project management
12. Excellent interpersonal communication and influencing skills with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
13. Experience with Health and Safety audit
