Tunbridge Wells PCN are looking to recruit a newly qualified, salaried GP to join our growing and dynamic multi-disciplinary team.
Due to the changes in the ARRS Scheme to introduce General Practitioners, we are looking to expand our team by seeking to employ a newly qualified General Practitioner who has not previously been substantively employed at a GP Practice to work alongside our practice and PCN staff.
In keeping with the PCN ARRS guidelines, this is currently an offer for a fixed-term post with funding available until 31 March 2025, but it is anticipated this funding will continue after this date allowing review for continuing post.
We are looking for a 6-7 session GP depending on the candidate and the needs of the PCN.
We are a well-established PCN team who are passionate about developing and delivering excellent quality local services to meet the needs of our patients. Our practices are keen to work with our team of Clinical Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, Paramedic Practitioners, First Contact Physiotherapists, Care Coordinators, Mental Health Practitioners, and Mental Health Navigators.
Main duties of the job
This post is seen as a perfect opportunity for those new to starting life as a GP. It includes a dedicated mentor along with a reduced and controlled workload to allow the successful candidate time and support to develop as a fully qualified GP. We are keen to offer the successful candidate flexibility and the opportunity to develop in leadership.
