Job Title: Project Manager\nLocation: Hybrid (Birmingham)\nIndustry: Electrical Utilities / Connections\nSeniority: Senior\nEmployment Type: Full-Time\n\nOverview:\nA fantastic opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to join a fast-growing Independent Connections Provider (ICP) specialising in the delivery of turnkey LV and HV connections. This role will suit a driven individual with a solid background in electrical utilities who thrives in a dynamic, client-focused environment.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * \n\n Lead the successful delivery of new electrical connections projects across residential, commercial and industrial developments.\n\n * \n\n Manage project timelines, budgets, resources and risks, ensuring work is completed to the highest standards.\n\n * \n\n Coordinate with internal engineering and operational teams, subcontractors, and DNOs to ensure seamless project execution.\n\n * \n\n Act as the key point of contact for clients, delivering clear communication and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.\n\n * \n\n Support regulatory compliance across projects, contributing to the maintenance of industry accreditations such as NERS where necessary.\n\nKey Requirements:\n\n * \n\n Strong experience managing projects in the electrical utilities or ICP environment.\n\n * \n\n Knowledge of contestable works, DNO processes and relevant industry standards.\n\n * \n\n Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.\n\n * \n\n Electrical or engineering qualifications, with a solid grasp of HV/LV design and construction principles.\n\n * \n\n Excellent organisational, leadership and communication skills.\n\nDesirable:\n\n * \n\n Familiarity with NERS accreditation and its application in project delivery.\n\n * \n\n Prince2, APM or equivalent project management certification.\n\n * \n\n Experience working within an independent connections business or directly with a DNO
