We are looking for two dynamic Advanced Neonatal Nurse Practitioners who presently work on the NICU at James Cook University Hospital to step up and work on the Tier 2 rota as Senior Advanced Neonatal Nurse Practitioners as part of the overall blended medical rota on the NICU. Main duties of the job The duties will include that of the current ANNP role but will include being responsible for the neonatal clinical care in the absence of a consultant neonatologist. This includes overseeing the care and management of sick and preterm infants whilst also managing the clinical medical team and ensuring that the consultant is kept briefed regarding the current status. It also includes being a senior decision maker around the care and management of sick and preterm infants.
