Tenant Liaison Officer

* Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum
* Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Working on a social housing refurbishment project. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring effective communication between tenants and the organisation, minimising disruption, and supporting tenants throughout the refurbishment process.
What you will be doing:
* Act as the primary contact for tenants, addressing queries and concerns regarding the refurbishment works.
* Conduct property visits to discuss upcoming works with tenants and assess any special requirements.
* Work closely with contractors, project teams, and housing officers to schedule and coordinate works.
* Keep tenants informed on schedules, expected disruptions, and available support, ensuring transparency throughout the project.
* Address issues, missed deadlines, and tenant complaints, ensuring problems are resolved efficiently and tenants remain informed.
* Maintain accurate records of tenant communications and feedback, escalating concerns where necessary.
* Support tenants who may be challenging or resistant to works, providing reassurance and practical solutions.
What you will bring to the team:
* Previous experience in a Tenant Liaison Officer role
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage with challenging tenants and diverse communities.
* Ability to handle complaints, resolve conflicts professionally, and manage expectations effectively.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential).
