Job summary
We are looking for a part / full time Practice Nurse Associate to join our Team at Pelton and Fellrose Medical Group.
Main duties of the job
To provide and maintain a high standard of nursing care for patients, as well as providing nursing assistance to the doctors and other members of the Primary Healthcare Team.

Job responsibilities
Able to document consultations according to NMC Guidelines
Carry out practice checks such as, venepuncture, blood pressure monitoring, diabetic foot checks, Learning Disability Reviews, SMI's, Ear Syringe, Dementia Reviews, Wound Packing, Dressings (including compression dressings), Injections (under PSD) NHS Health Checks.
Perform Cervical Cytology Tests
Perform suture removal
Ability to undertake ECGs
Assist in the provision of Minor Surgery
Leg Ulcer Care
Person Specification
Qualifications
Essential
1. * Registered Nursing Associate on the NMC register
2. * Nursing Associate Foundation Degree qualification
3. * GCSE Grade A-C in Maths & English or skills level 2 Maths & English or
4. equivalent
Desirable
5. * Qualification in assessment, supervision and teaching in clinical practice
Experience
Essential
6. * Up to date understanding of the scope of and role of the Nursing Associate in context of the nursing and multidisciplinary team and the organisation, and how the role may contribute to service development.
7. * Understands and acts in line with NMC professional standards for practice contained within The Code
8. * Experience of working with clients who experience mental illness

9. * Experience of working within a community setting

10. * Experience of working in teams under appropriate supervision as part of a multi-disciplinary team
