The Vacancy UCFB are seeking to appoint a Facilities Assistant: to support the delivery of a high quality, effective and efficient facilities management function for students and staff; to deliver, a high quality, effective and efficient day-to-day operation at all UCFB facilities; and to ensure safe, compliant, well-maintained facilities, which support the achievement of the overarching aims of our 2021 - 2024 facilities masterplan and beyond. KEY TASKS: To ensure all sites are set up, presentable and ready on a daily basis to support all teaching activities across the UCFB Manchester site Support teaching requirements at all UCFB sites and facilities across the Manchester campus. Carry out the conversion of UCFB areas for event days at relevant facilities and back to education usage, including moving UCFB assets to UCFB storage areas, and central storage. (All sites) Have an overview of where all UCFB assets are stored and develop and maintain the asset register (Bellevue) Have an overview of where UCFB assets are moved to and from on event days Monitor the facilities inbox (helpdesk) for assistance requests and respond in line within defined timelines and parameters. Assist the FM team and/or carry out basic maintenance of UCFB assets and facilities as and when required Carry out dilapidation checks at UCFB facilities as directed by The Facilities Manager Be aware of procedures particularly where Risk Assessments are in force or Health and Safety Management is required and ensure Risk Assessment are up to date Execute additional tasks as required in order to meet UCFB and landlords changing priorities Be available to work out-of-hours as and when required, with due notice.
