An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 staff nurse to join the Medical Infusion Suite team at Maidstone Hospital.
The Medical Infusion Suite is a nurse-led day unit, primarily treating immunosuppressed patients with conditions such as Rheumatoid Arthritis, Ulcerative Colitis, Crohn’s and Multiple Sclerosis. The unit is currently open Tuesday to Friday from 08:00 - 18:00.

We are looking for experienced Nurse who is ready for the next step in their career, with sound clinical knowledge and excellent interpersonal skills to work within this area. You will have a willingness to undertake any necessary training to enable clinical competency and skills. The successful candidate must work well in a team and be able to communicate effectively with colleagues, patients and relatives/carers. You will be required to be receptive to change, dynamic and demonstrate active assistance and support to your more senior colleagues in the on-going development of the department.
You will be supported by your Clinical Matron and Ward Sister in your continued personal development with training opportunities. We are also seeking individuals who can demonstrate our Trust Values- Patient First, Respect, Innovation, Delivery, Excellence.

Following your Corporate Induction you will be expected to attend the Trust’s 2-week Induction Programme for RNs, NAs, RMs, ODPs and Paramedics. The programme is full-time (please emailmtw-tr.professionalstandards@nhs.netif this is problematic) and will involve travel to both Trust sites. The programme includes supernumerary shifts in the clinical area, classroom-based sessions and e-learning.
