An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Data Warehouse Developer to join the Data Engineering Team within the IT Department at Milton Keynes Hospital. The successful applicant will play a key role in supporting and managing the Data Warehouse as well as the development of the Azure Data Lake used by the trust. The ideal candidate will be confident with proven experience of Database support, preferably in a healthcare environment, be an excellent communicator and pay very close attention to detail.

The overall aim of this role is to support the Trust's data warehouse and help enable the effective use of data by Trust stakeholders such as information analysts, managers and clinicians to improve health care delivery at the Trust.
The responsibilities of the post-holder will be diverse and changing depending on the projects the team is working on. The team’s core functions are to develop, maintain and enhance the Trust’s data capabilities, to ensure the accuracy and robustness of central submissions and information on which the organisation operates

• The post-holder will be required to work in a team responsible for the development, maintenance and performance of the data warehouse.
• Take a lead in ensuring the Trust’s data warehouse is appropriately maintained and updated to meet the specific needs of the Trust, as directed by the Database Warehouse Manager. This may include monitoring and analysing highly complex Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) processes and managing the Microsoft SQL databases.
