Make your mark as a Marine Workshop Engineer at Gardline!
To provide a skilled mechanical engineering and technical service for the marine workshop and the company fleet.
Your responsibilities:
* Carry out essential planned and breakdown maintenance on company vessels world wide.
* To be able to travel at short notice if necessary.
* To provide a skilled mechanical engineering and technical service for the marine workshop
* To provide and maintain a high standard and quality of work in the marine workshop & on vessels
* To assist in the training of the Junior workshop staff
* Assist with class machinery surveys as instructed by superintendents
* Ensure that all Health, Safety & Environmental company policies are adhered to & promote safe working practices
* Assist in ensuring the safety, security and maintenance of the building, information systems, fittings and equipment, including reporting defects and being responsible for your own safety, and that of other staff, and any member of the public who may be affected by your acts and omissions at work
* To be flexible & adaptable in a changing environment
Qualifications
Your qualities
You can make your mark as a Marine Workshop Engineer:
* Able to pass a ENG1 / STCW95 or have valid medical / training
* Proven work history within the marine mechanical industry
* City and guilds or NVQ in mechanical engineering or similar qualification
* Microsoft Office knowledge

* Fulltime job: The position of a Marine Workshop Engineer is a fulltime role, 37.5 hours per week.
