The Role
An opportunity has arisen for a Digital Services Manager (Cyber Security) based within Kirklands, NHSL Headquarters.
Through a Head of Digital Services, the Digital Services Manager is accountable for the day-to-day management of their Service Area, including responsibility for its performance, resources, and activities. You will provide specialist technical and managerial input to the department’s strategic structure and contribute to the development of future operational strategies.
In addition to departmental responsibilities, the Digital Services Manager, under the guidance of a Head of Digital Services, is expected to work on a range of service-specific and NHSL-wide issues.

What you'll need to bring
Qualifications
Masters Degree in a relevant technical discipline
Formal certification in IT Service Management
Knowledge, Competencies, and Skills
* Extensive knowledge of IT service management in the NHS or similar complex organizations.
* Specialist expertise in complex information systems through formal training and experience.
* Experience managing in a large, changing health organization.
* Knowledge of staff management, development, and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
* Proven success in service improvement, technical operations, organizational change, and partnership working.
* Leadership skills aligned with NHS Scotland's core behaviors.
* Understanding of industry best practices and emerging technologies.
Note: A full UK/EU/EEA driving license is required if applicable.
Preferred Skills
* Understanding of health and healthcare policy frameworks.
Contract Details
Permanent, Full-time (37 hours)
Location and Working Pattern
Based at Kirklands - NHSL Headquarters. Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm.
