All About the Role
Based in Rotherham, we have vacancies for Profile Operatives on our rotating 3 shift pattern, the hours as follows: -
* Days - Monday to Thursday 06:00 to 14:00 Friday 06:00 to 12:30.
* Nights - Monday to Thursday 20:30 to 06:00 Friday 18:00 to 03:00
* Afternoons - Monday to Thursday 13:00 to 21:00 Friday 12:00 to 18:30
The purpose of these roles is to ensure customers’ orders are fulfilled to the highest standards in a fast-paced environment. Specific tasks could include:
* Operate CNC plasmas machinery
* Transferring stock to its location using a Forklift trucks and overhead cranes.
* Pick computer generated orders with repetitive handling/lifting of heavy and large items
* Accurately record stock movement and usage, along with product identification and use of measuring equipment.
* Work efficiently and effectively as part of a team and on your own.
* Assisting in the overall production and dispatch of customers’ orders.
* Maintain high levels of Health and Safety.
* Be adaptable and flexible in approach to work to meet operational requirements

Essential Skills for the role:
The successful candidate will have minimum 2 years’ experience with profiling plasma machinery or similar CNC experience.
* Be logically and mechanically minded
* Have a flexible attitude, be results oriented, and enjoy working in a team environment.
* Have considerable experience operating over head cranes and FLT.
* Health & Safety awareness
