Role Description This is a full-time role for an Internal Sales position at Knotwood UK.
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Internal Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with both new and existing customers, providing excellent customer service, and supporting the sales process from inquiry to order completion.
You will play a key role in promoting and selling our aluminium products and solutions, ensuring customer satisfaction, and meeting sales targets.
Key Responsibilities: Customer Interaction: Serve as the primary point of contact for inbound sales inquiries related to aluminium products and services.
Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships through phone, email, and in-person communication.
Sales Support: Assist customers with product selection, pricing, and availability of various products.
Provide accurate and timely quotations based on customer requirements.
Order Management: Process customer orders and ensure smooth coordination with production, logistics, and other internal departments to fulfil customer requirements on time.
Follow up on order status and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
Product Knowledge: Stay updated on the full range of aluminium products, technical specifications, and industry trends.
Provide technical support and advice to customers as needed, assisting them in selecting the most suitable products for their applications.
Sales Growth: Identify sales opportunities by actively seeking new customers and nurturing relationships with existing clients.
Proactively follow up on leads, understand customer needs, and cross-sell or up-sell products to maximize revenue.
Database Management: Maintain an accurate and up-to-date customer database and sales records in the company CRM system.
Monitor sales performance and report on key metrics, including sales targets, forecasts, and customer feedback.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with the external sales team, production, and logistics to ensure customer satisfaction and meet company goals.
Collaborate with colleagues to share market insights and improve overall sales processes Qualifications & Skills: Experience: At least 2 years of experience in internal sales, preferably in the aluminium or manufacturing industry.
Experience in technical sales or working with industrial products is a plus.
Product Knowledge: Familiarity with building products, including their applications, specifications, and market trends.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to interact with customers at all levels, providing clear and professional responses to inquiries.
Sales Acumen: Strong sales skills with a proven ability to close deals and meet sales targets.
Ability to identify customer needs and offer tailored solutions.
Technical Aptitude: Basic technical knowledge of building products and their use cases, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and products.
Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
Experience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Problem Solving: Ability to address and resolve customer issues promptly, finding solutions that meet both customer and company requirements.
Working Conditions: Work Environment: Office-based with potential for occasional site visits to meet clients or inspect project requirements.
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday with Hybrid Options Salary: £25,000
