About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to support amazing students of a special school in Enfield. In this role, you will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide tailored assistance to children with diverse learning needs, ensuring they have the best possible educational experience.
SEN Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:
As SEN Teaching Assistant in this outstanding school in Enfield, you will:
* Provide dedicated support in the mornings, focusing on assisting students with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs, including ADHD diagnosis and potential self-harming behavior.
* Offer crucial assistance in the afternoons, aiding students and remaining flexible to work across Key Stages 1 and 2.
* Utilize your knowledge and skills to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment for all students.
* Collaborate closely with teachers and SENCO to implement tailored support plans and interventions.
* Foster positive relationships with students, promoting their social, emotional, and academic development.

SEN Teaching Assistant Requirements:
* Previous experience working as a SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
* Strong understanding of SEN, safeguarding, and child protection practices.
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently when required.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Relevant qualifications and/or training in education, SEN, or child development are desirable.
