Health and Safety and Operations Manager

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Health and Safety and Operations Manager to join our team in Wolverhampton. If you have a strong background in mechanical engineering, NEBOSH certification (or equivalent), and proven experience in parts procurement (especially internationally), this is the opportunity for you!

Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage daily production activities, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety in all processes.
2. Utilize your engineering skills to optimize production and ensure successful assemblies.
3. Maintain and enhance our health & safety systems, ensuring compliance and reducing risks.
4. Handle parts procurement with a focus on international suppliers.
5. Drive process improvements and implement strategies to boost productivity and reduce downtime.
What We’re Looking For:
1. Mechanical engineering qualification (Degree or Apprenticeship)
2. NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent in Health & Safety
3. Proven experience in production and operations management within a manufacturing environment
4. Procurement expertise, particularly in dealing with suppliers from overseas.
5. Strong leadership skills with a focus on team development and safety

Package:
Working hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Enjoy 25 days of holiday plus statutory public holidays.
Competitive salary of between £40,000 and £50,000 per annum, depending on experience and ability.
A three-month probationary period will apply.
