About the Role:
A leading UK-based facilities management company is seeking an experienced Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Project Manager to oversee and deliver a diverse range of projects. This is a permanent, full-time position offering a competitive salary of £70,000+ per annum, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
Key Responsibilities:
* Project Oversight: Manage all aspects of M&E projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
* Team Leadership: Lead multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, technicians, and subcontractors, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
* Client Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring their requirements are met throughout the project lifecycle.
* Pricing of Tenders: Will be required to price tenders competitively to ensure projects remain in scope.
* Compliance & Safety: Ensure all projects comply with relevant regulations, standards, and health & safety protocols.
* Budget Management: Monitor project finances, preparing reports and forecasts to ensure financial objectives are achieved.
Candidate Profile:
* Experience: Proven track record as an M&E Project Manager, preferably within the facilities management or construction sectors.
* Qualifications: Relevant certifications in mechanical and electrical engineering or project management.
* Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organisational abilities. Proficiency in project management software and tools.
* Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of M&E systems, building services, and current regulations.
* Location: Based in or willing to commute to Hornchurch, Essex.
