Job summary We are looking to grow our team of Practice Nurses, we are a busy, friendly practice. The Practice Nurse role will be to see patients for their annual chronic disease check, diabetes, asthma, hypertension etc. carry out cervical screening, give injections e.g. baby immunisations and holiday vaccinations. To carry out first dressings when necessary, and help run annual flu & Covid clinics. To be available to help our HCA's when needed. Deal with patients face to face or by telephone, and to carry out home visits for our housebound patients. You will also be required to work an improved access shift which is 6.30-8.00 pm. Main duties of the job Ideally you will have experience in General Practice although training will be given to successful candidate if needed. You must be flexible, reliable and willing to cover some sickness or holiday. The ideal hours for this role will be 4.00pm to 8.00 pm 3 days per week, but this is negoitable.
