The UK Safran Electrical & Power team has expertise in designing and developing electrical systems comprising generators, power conversion, distribution and control, with developing expertise in electric motors for aircraft propulsion. As a Maintenance Engineer at Safran Electrical & Power you will provide maintenance, repairs and improvement work to the production and test equipment on site. You will assist with day-to-day facilities maintenance and ensure all servicing is carried out with minimal impact on production and engineering. You will liaise and work with sub-contractors as required, as well as the engineering and production teams to ensure disruptions are kept to a minimum. The Role Provide maintenance, repairs and improvement work on equipment onsite, carrying out routine planned maintenance when required. Assist with the control, ordering and replenishment of spare parts and components. Liaise and keep production and engineering teams updated to ensure they are aware of disruptions. Work with specialist sub-contractors to assist with maintenance on the site. Input information into the management system, providing feedback to reduce unplanned downtime. Order spare parts as and when requested. Desirable Experience We are looking for candidates with a range of skills and experience, but were also keen to help people grow and develop in this role. If you have a strong knowledge of electrical controls, systems, equipment and robotics or have previous experience working as a maintenance or repairs engineer, wed love to hear from you.
