We are currently recruiting for an interim Deputy Children's Home Manager to cover maternity leave. Duties involve: Supporting the Children's Home Manager in the day-to-day running of the home Providing leadership and guidance to staff, ensuring a high standard of care and safeguarding for all children and young people. Ensuring that all regulatory requirements, including those set by Ofsted, are met Fostering a supportive and caring environment, promoting the well-being and development of children in care Developing and implementing care plans tailored to individual needs Leading by example, maintaining a professional and compassionate approach at all timesKey Skills and Experience: Previous experience working in a children's residential setting is essential Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, safeguarding procedures, and regulatory frameworks Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (Children and Young People) or equivalent (Level 5 preferred) Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills A commitment to providing the best possible care to vulnerable children and young people If this role is of interest to you please email (url removed)
