People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Driver’s Mate to join our well-established client based in Darnley, Glasgow.
This role involves assisting a 7.5T Driver with home deliveries of furniture and building materials to residential addresses.
The role requires candidates who are punctual, professional, and physically fit for manual handling tasks.

Day-to-Day Duties
Your duties as a Driver’s Mate will include but are not limited to:
* Assisting the 7.5T Driver with loading and unloading deliveries
* Ensuring furniture and building materials are handled safely and securely
* Delivering products to customer homes and helping with placement if required
* Providing excellent customer service during deliveries
* Adhering to health & safety guidelines at all times
* Communicating effectively with drivers, customers, and the transport team
Essential Skills
To be successful as a Driver’s Mate, you will need:
* Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting
* Excellent teamworking and communication skills
* Good customer service skills
* Punctual and reliable
* Ability to follow instructions and health & safety procedures
Training
* Manual handling training will be provided
