Teacher of French with Spanish
Required for September 2025
Main Scale or UPS, Including London fringe
Applications are invited from enthusiastic and dedicated teachers of French up to ‘A’ Level. The ability to teach Key Stage 3 Spanish would be an advantage but not essential. You will be joining a successful and vibrant Modern Foreign Languages Department who really bring languages alive for all.
We welcome applications from ECTs and will consider part-time applications for this role.
The school is a very heavily over-subscribed 11-18 Comprehensive School with 1730 students on roll (including 390 in the Sixth Form).
We offer a comprehensive induction programme and a professional development programme to help you develop into an excellent teacher. The School also offers a strong tradition of excellent outcomes and a broad curriculum suited to all students. The School’s Behaviour Policy is robust and supportive of students and staff, and expectations are clear.
We believe our best resources are our teachers. There is a popular and thriving programme of continuing professional development in the department and across the school, at all levels, and colleagues have the opportunity to develop personally and professionally through our long-standing membership of the PiXL club. The School also offers excellent promotion prospects.
Colleagues benefit from a commitment to staff well-being and are provided with several schemes to support them in maintaining an active and healthy lifestyle. The priority admission of children of successful applicants applies for this subject.
