As the Manager of Global Cyber Security and IT Operations, you will establish and operationalize Instron's cyber security strategy, and have responsibility for our global IT infrastructure and support functions. You will work closely with Instron leadership to balance risk with business needs. You will oversee investment in market leading / state-of-the-art cyber security and operational technologies. And you will lead a talented team of IT professionals, in a collaborative and innovative environment. Responsibilities include: - Develop a security vision/strategy and long-term roadmap as it relates to Instron's Cyber Security and IT Operations. - Execute projects required to fulfill the strategy and roadmap for Cyber Security and IT Operations. - Collaborate with Business stakeholders, and broader IT leadership to ensure Cyber Security and Operations are incorporated into the overall IT strategy and roadmap to balance real-world risks with business drivers. - Lead the team, develop goals/objectives, and foster innovation and growth within Instron's Cyber Security and IT Operations functions. - Educate and inform business stakeholders on Cyber risk and promote awareness on Cyber Defense. - Lead the implementation of risk assessments, threat intelligence tools and processes to control and mitigate risks and vulnerabilities to meet compliance needs. - Lead all Cyber investigations into security incidents and provides ongoing communication with Senior Leadership Team. - Accountable for the effective and efficient operational support of all third-party and internally managed IT infrastructure used to support business processes. - Manage the relevant cost center budgets and identifies opportunities for the appropriate and cost-effective investment in IT systems and resources, including staffing, sourcing, and purchasing. - Mentors team members to help them achieve their full potential. - Foster a collaborative and innovative environment within the team and across the organization. Skills and Experience: - Demonstrated progressive experience in the management of a global IT Security and Operations team - Strong understanding of cybersecurity technologies and IT operations best practices - Experience in strategic planning and execution - Solid project management experience - Demonstrated knowledge of security Architecture and Design - Substantial exposure to data processing, hardware platforms, enterprise software applications, and outsourced systems - Excellent understanding of computer systems characteristics, features, and integration capabilities - Demonstrated ability to apply IT in solving business problems - In-depth knowledge of applicable laws and regulations as they relate to IT - Strong understanding of human resource management principles, practices, and procedures - HND or university degree in the field of computer science and relevant work experience. - Relevant IT certifications, for example: - Security - GIAC Security Essentials Certification, GIAC Security Leadership Certification - ISACA Certified Information Security Manager - Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer: Security - (ISC)2 SCCP, (ISC)2 CISSP, (ISC)2 ISSAP - Operations - MCSE, ITIL v3, Project Management This is an opportunity to join a successful team where you can make a significant impact.
