An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Physiotherapist to join our small, enthusiastic, skilled team based in the North locality of Perthshire, based out of Blairgowrie Community Hospital.
The supportive team are looking for a skilled Physiotherapist who is keen to be part of a forward-looking integrated service, who will promote Physiotherapy, providing high quality assessment and rehabilitation, as well as supporting development of the service. The team cover all clinical areas on a needs led, priority basis. As a member of the team, you will be involved in prevention of admission, supporting a home first approach and delivering an enhanced level of care at home.
The main caseload will be within the Blairgowrie area, with cross cover required across the North Locality. Applicants should possess good communication and decision making skills, and have a positive approach to multidisciplinary team working as well as being able to work autonomously.
You will take responsibility for a designated clinical caseload incorporating in-patients, domiciliary, and rehab Outpatients. You will work within multi-professional teams to ensure co-ordinated care for patients and carers. You will also be required to delegate tasks to Physiotherapy Support Workers and occasionally to support students on clinical placement.
You will be fully supported by senior staff, with supervision, appraisal and regular CPD opportunities.
Applicants must be registered with HCPC and have the ability to travel throughout the locality.
