Kepak is one of Europe's leading food producers, We are seeking experienced Butchers who are looking to progress their career and join our growing Beef Boning Department at KEPAK Bodmin. As a skilled Butcher, your role will be essential in ensuring that our meat products are prepared to the highest standards of quality and safety. The Bodmin site are currently seeking motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our friendly, passionate team. Responsibilities Use knives and other equipment to prepare and process meat products according to production specifications. Ensure that meat products are cut and trimmed to the highest standards of quality and safety. Keep work area clean and follow all safety regulations and procedures. Meet production goals and work as a team to ensure timely completion of tasks. Properly store and handle meat products to prevent waste and spoilage. Continuously learn and improve knowledge of knife skills and meat processing techniques. You will start work at 06:00 in the morning and work until production is finished, Monday to Friday with weekends off. This role offers a full time contract based on 45 hrs per week any hours worked over the 45 will be paid at time & quarter of your hourly rate. You will have 2 x 30 min breaks per day. Depending on your experience you will start on £14.94 per hour, this can increase the more you learn and develop. With the top earning potential being £21.44 per hour. Requirements Previous knife skills and butchery experience in fast paced food manufacturing is required. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production goals. Attention to detail and ability to follow strict production specifications and safety procedures Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment. Physical ability to stand for long periods of time, and lift and move heavy items. Excellent communication skills, including fluent English language proficiency.
