Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Role Summary:
We are looking for a CAD Designer to join our growing team. This is a key role supporting the production and engineering departments by preparing precise, detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for use in the fabrication of sheet metal and steel structures.
Key Responsibilities:
* Produce detailed CAD drawings for fabrication and assembly using 2D and/or 3D software.
* Collaborate with engineers and production staff to ensure manufacturability and design accuracy.
* Interpret client briefs and specifications into production-ready designs.
* Use software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or SigmaNEST (experience in any is advantageous).
* Maintain drawing records and documentation to ensure traceability and compliance with quality standards.
* Support project delivery from initial design through to final production and installation.
Candidate Requirements:
* Experience with 2D/3D CAD design in a fabrication or engineering environment.
* Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or SigmaNEST.
* Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes and material behavior.
* Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
* Good communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
* Relevant qualifications in CAD design, mechanical engineering, or similar fields are desirable.
