Teacher (Maternity Cover) - Milford Haven Community Primary School
Salary: Pay Scale Within: £32,433 - £49,944
Milford Haven Community Primary School Governing Body is seeking to appoint one full time teacher to cover a maternity position from September 2025 to the May half term 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious, enthusiastic and reflective practitioner who has a strong commitment to improving and excelling at teaching. Newly qualified teachers are welcome to apply.
You will join us at a time of exciting development at Milford, as we have worked tirelessly over the past two years in embedding our new curriculum and approaches to teaching and learning used at the school. This is an opportunity to join us and continue to build on our recent successes, where we pledge to offer all our staff comprehensive and rich opportunities for professional development.
You will be integral in working in our team to lead the school to our ambition of being an outstanding school. These posts would also suit candidates who have ambitions for leadership in the future, with opportunities to lead regularly arising within our school.
We are looking for someone who meets the person specifications in the job description and who:
1. is a high-quality primary practitioner with high aspirations for pupils
2. is passionate and knowledgeable about children's learning and development, and applies that knowledge in the classroom to secure the best progress possible for all learners.
3. has a detailed knowledge and understanding of pedagogy, and is engaged with the four purposes and learning experiences that are central to current curriculum reform.
4. is caring, kind, and patient and has a sense of humour to provide our pupils the support and guidance they require to be successful.
