Comprising a number of individual Business Units, this South Eastern suburb (hybrid working environment) Energy solutions organisation has grown successfully and profitably by providing innovative, value add solutions (including renewable offerings), superior customer service and leveraging a loyal, passionate workforce. Enjoying the backing of an instantly recognisable global brand, the organisation, whilst significant, is nimble and encourages and supports ideas and initiatives.
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, and a member of the extended leadership team, as “Head of IT” you are charged with leading the IT function, setting the IT strategy and determining future enhancements to enable the organisation's significant growth outlook. Broad accountabilities include IT strategy, infrastructure, operations, security, IT governance and vendor management. Whilst ensuring core IT Operations continue to perform efficiently, opportunities to add value in partnering with the business include:
* Nationwide branch network technology support
* Rollout of mobile field service technology
* Inventory management solutions
* Support users with self-sufficiency of Power BI and other tools
* Develop AI policies and more broadly explore AI business opportunities
Qualified in Computer Science, IT, or related field, you have a breadth of experience delivering a range of IT services in a well-performing, disciplined, IT environment. Of equal importance to your technical capabilities are your leadership, engagement and desire to provide strong technology support to business units.
