An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Surgical Services Care Group as a Project Manager. The successful post holder will be responsible for co-ordinating project activity relating to the new Electronic Patient Record system (Connect 24), to ensure time critical activities related to the delivery of the EPR implementation programme are delivered.

Key Responsibilities:
* Support the successful transition and implementation of the new Electronic Patient Record (EPR) through effective planning and coordination.
* Provide practical support and knowledge to implementation, clinical, and operational teams across the organisation.
* Help align existing operational processes with the new EPR’s functionality and anticipated configuration.
* Identify and escalate opportunities for ongoing process improvement to support system-wide standardisation.
* Act as a liaison between the Programme and the Care Group, working closely with senior clinical teams to align goals and priorities.
* Coordinate localisation of the future state design within the Care Group and manage activities in the operational readiness tracker.
* Support the development of standard operating procedures for new EPR-related processes.
* Manage and prioritise a complex workload with conflicting demands to meet daily deadlines.
* Work closely with the Care Group Senior Responsible Officer, Programme Board, and Subject Matter Leads, escalating concerns as needed to ensure go-live readiness.

This vacancy is advertised on a fixed term contract basis for a period of 12 months due to the post being recruited as part of a limited term project within the Trust. The fixed term contract status of the post holder will be reviewed in accordance with the Trust's legal obligations regarding fixed term contracts taking into consideration the requirement for the post to be maintained as a part of the project’s implementation and the timescales associated with this.
