We are seeking a proactive and dedicated individual with proven school-based experience to join our supportive team in East Grinstead. Important Requirement: Candidates must have an enhanced child-only DBS on the Update Service to be eligible for this role. Your Role: As a Year 6 General Teaching Assistant, you will: Provide in-class support to Year 6 pupils, helping them stay engaged and focused during lessons. Work alongside the class teacher to create a positive and productive learning environment. Assist in preparing lesson materials, setting up activities, and maintaining an organized classroom. Support small groups or individual pupils who may need additional help with their learning. Encourage positive behavior, resilience, and enthusiasm in pupils. What We’re Looking For: We are seeking a candidate who: Has school-based experience, ideally in KS2 (Key Stage 2). Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Is proactive, adaptable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. Demonstrates a passion for working with children and supporting their academic and personal development.
