Role Overview
Leading specialist personal injury law firm, ranked among the top 100 law firms in the UK and highly regarded for employee satisfaction, is seeking a skilled Personal Assistant (PA) to support a Principal Partner in the Employers Liability (EL) team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced legal secretary with expertise in personal injury to work within a reputable and well-established department.
As a PA, your role will include managing correspondence, documents, client files, and fee earner diaries, as well as providing professional client support both in person and over the phone. You will be an integral part of the legal team, ensuring that the administrative functions run smoothly, and that excellent client care is consistently delivered.
Candidate Profile/Experience Needed
The ideal candidate will have:
1. Demonstrable legal secretarial experience, ideally within personal injury or civil litigation.
2. A strong command of English spelling, punctuation, and grammar.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and excellent word processing skills.
4. Audio typing experience with a speed of 65+ words per minute (preferable).
5. Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage diaries, schedule meetings, and support the wider team when needed.
6. A professional, friendly telephone manner and a commitment to providing excellent client care.
