As a Workplace Services Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless technology integration and exceptional service delivery. This role is strategically important as it supports the optimisation of workplace technology, including end-user devices and Microsoft productivity tools, to drive business success. In this newly created role, you will shape the future of workplace technology at NFU Mutual. At the heart of this role is a unique chance to take ownership of a wide spectrum of IT services—from end-user devices and corporate printing solutions to Microsoft 365 applications—ensuring seamless service delivery and an exceptional digital experience across the business. You will be pivotal to our IT workplace services operations, you'll lead in overseeing day-to-day activities, including hardware deployment, meeting room tech, and software support. You’ll not only manage critical vendor relationships and the procurement and maintenance of workplace technology, but also guide a talented team in delivering secure, compliant, and user-friendly M365 services that empower our people to work smarter. This role offers far more than operational oversight. It places you at the strategic core of how we deliver and evolve our workplace IT services. Your ability to engage with senior stakeholders, spot opportunities for improvement, and implement impactful change will be key to driving innovation—especially as we explore future investments in emerging tech like AI. To help you give your best in the office and at home, we’re open to discussing what this might look like for you.About you As an experienced Workplace Services Manager, you will have a strong background in running a workplace service that incorporates M365, promoting adoption, and managing governance. Your experience in workplace IT services management, including operational support and strategic planning, will be crucial. Additionally, you should have a proven track record in leading complex IT delivery projects for integrated solutions, along with an awareness of emerging technologies and the ability to assess workplace tools for efficiency improvements. Alongside this, you will need: • Experience in hardware and device deployment, including day-to-day support and service assurance. • Strong vendor and supplier management skills. • Experience in managing workplace-related risks and vulnerabilities. • Effective leadership skills for managing, coaching, and developing teams. • Strong stakeholder relationship management skills. • Strategic planning and governance experience. • Customer-centric approach to ensure reliable service delivery. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Proven ability in project execution and delivery, managing resources effectively. Qualifications: • Degree or equivalent industry experience (Essential). • ITIL Foundation certification (Desirable).
