Step Teachers are working with a secondary school in Suffolk that is looking for a passionate and devoted MFL Teacher, to join their successful MFL department. The ideal applicant will be enthusiastic about language learning and dedicated to providing a high-quality education to our pupils. This is a long-term supply role and the successful candidate is expected to start in January 2025.
MFL Teacher Responsibilities:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons to students at various levels.
* Assess and monitor students' progress, providing timely feedback to support their development.
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for languages.
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies and resources.
* Participate in departmental meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
* Contribute to extracurricular activities and language-related events within the school community.
MFL Teacher Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Degree in a related field.
* Strong subject knowledge and a passion for languages and culture.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
* Commitment to ongoing professional development.
* Experience teaching Modern Foreign Languages at a KS3 and KS4 level.
