Salary from £15,031-£18,789 per annum for 20-25 hours per week

Supervising the Domestic Assistants to ensure the delivery of a timely and efficient Housekeeping Service
Liaising with student residents to encourage responsible use and care of residential facilities
Management of attendance, performance and conduct
Assisting the Head Housekeeper and Cleaning Services Manager with their responsibilities
Liaising with other departments, including Maintenance and Accommodation, as required.
To be considered for this interesting role, you will need to have:
GCSE Grade C (or above) in Maths or English or equivalent
Substantial experience in a Housekeeping supervisory role within a hospitality environment
A positive track record for problem-solving
Detailed knowledge of the usage and application of a range of cleaning products
A thorough understanding of the responsibilities of a Housekeeping function
Good understanding of relevant Health & Safety provisions, including COSHH, manual handling and lone working
The ability to lift, move and bend in order to carry out the requirements of the role, in line with Risk Assessments and after training
Proficiency in the use of emails and Databases
A good command of the English language.
The ideal candidate will be a team player, with a flexible approach to tasks and able to work without direct supervision, prioritising a busy workload.
Details of the roleThe post of Housekeeping Services Supervisor is a permanent, part-time role.
We are seeking an accomplished Housekeeping Services Supervisor.
It is anticipated that 10% of the weekly working time will be spent on administrative duties.
The hours of work available are between 20 and 25 hours per week (Monday-Friday, although some weekend working will be required – for which notice will be given), with an unpaid 30-minute lunch break. There is potential for a degree of flexibility on start/finish times. The annual salary ranges from £15,031 to £18,789 per annum (Step 33 on the College Salary Scale) depending on the number of hours worked.
