Step Teachers are seeking an experienced Design Technology Teacher located in Barnet commencing in March 2025. This full-time position is for 1 month initially, with potential extension based on performance and school discretion.

Your duties as a Design Technology Teacher:
* Plan and deliver engaging Design Technology lessons across a range of key stages, including KS3 and KS4.
* Teach students a variety of design skills, including CAD, CAM, product design, and material manipulation.
* Inspire students to develop their creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
* Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to guide their learning and development.
* Ensure the safe use of tools, equipment, and materials in the classroom and workshop environments.
* Contribute to the development of the Design Technology curriculum and resources.
* Lead extracurricular activities related to design technology, such as clubs or competitions.
* Collaborate with other departments to integrate cross-curricular projects.
To be considered for this Design Technology Teacher position, you will:
* Hold a relevant degree and QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
* Have a passion for being a Design Technology Teacher and be excited to inspire students.
* Possess strong knowledge of materials, design software (e.g., CAD), and practical skills.
